With over 15 years of dedicated practice, Dr. Amit Aiwale is a seasoned neurosurgeon, making significant contributions to the field of neurosurgery. His commitment to patient care is reflected in his association with esteemed hospitals such as Bethany Hospital, Kaushalya Hospital, Thane Healthcare, Godbole Hospital, Mahavir Jain Hospital, and his directorship at Solaris Hospitals.

Dr. Aiwale's extensive medical journey began with completing an MBBS, followed by an MS in General Surgery and a DNB in Neurosurgery. He further honed his skills through advanced training at CARE Hospital in Hyderabad, working alongside renowned neurosurgeons like Dr. Syed Ameer Basha, Dr. TVRK Murthy, and Dr. T.N. Rao.

His passion for research has led to the presentation and publication of numerous articles in neurosurgery at national conferences. In 2018, Dr. Amit Aiwale earned the first prize in the NextGen Young Neurosurgeon category at the International Neurosurgery Update. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in neuroendoscopy (brain and spine) under the guidance of Dr. Y.R. Yadav and served as a fellow of the World Federation of Neurological Surgeons under the mentorship of Dr. Basant K. Misra.

Specializing in various neurosurgical areas, Dr. Aiwale is experienced in handling brain tumors, aneurysms, AVMs, head injuries, trauma, and spine disorders, including slipped discs, back pain, lumbar, and cervical spine surgeries. His expertise extends to spine tumors and spine TB. Dr. Amit is also proficient in endoscopic brain surgeries such as pituitary tumors, intraventricular tumors, and third ventriculostomy procedures.

At Solaris Hospital in Thane, Dr. Aiwale has pioneered navigation-guided brain and spine surgeries, introducing advanced techniques to the region. With an impressive track record, he has successfully performed over 1500 brain surgeries and more than 5000 spine surgeries to date. Currently, as a clinical associate with Dr. B.K. Misra at P.D. Hinduja Hospital Mahim in Mumbai, Dr. Amit Aiwale continues to contribute to the advancement of neurosurgical care.
